American brand Tatuaje, founded by Pete Johnson, is marking two decades since the debut of its Havana VI line (launched in 2006) by adding two regular-production vitolas: Series B (5 3/8 x 48) and Series E (5 3/8 x 52). Both keep the line’s blend — an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler — are lightly pressed and carry a secondary anniversary band. Suggested retail is around 11 dollars each, in boxes of 24, with production handled at My Father Cigars in Nicaragua.

Alongside them, the full-bodied Black Label line also gains two new sizes — Private Reserve Robusto (5 x 50) and Private Reserve Torpedo (6 1/8 x 52) — with an all-Nicaraguan blend and a sun-grown Criollo wrapper, presented in 20-count boxes.

Tatuaje is not currently listed in the Mister Tabaco catalogue, but enthusiasts can explore the premium cigar selection available in the shop.

Tatuaje has finally turned one of its most requested blends into a standalone release. Creature, previously only available as a sampler-exclusive, now gets its own full-size edition — the 101st installment of the brand’s celebrated Monster Series, launched back in 2007.

The new format is a 6⅞ x 52 perfecto, blended entirely with Nicaraguan tobacco and handcrafted at the My Father Cigars factory in Estelí. Production is capped at 7,000 boxes of 10 cigars, packaged in the series’ signature coffin-style boxes, with an MSRP of roughly $19.54 per cigar.

The cigar began shipping to U.S. retailers on June 19, 2026, after the blend had previously appeared only in two smaller formats, including the 2021 Tatuaje Monster Mash Creature. For Monster Series collectors, Creature is one of the year’s most anticipated releases.

Tatuaje is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Black Label line with a new pair of Private Reserve vitolas: a 5 x 50 Robusto priced at $12 and a 6 1/8 x 52 Torpedo priced at $13. Both carry a secondary band marked with the number 20 to mark the milestone.

The blend features a Nicaraguan sun-grown criollo wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan binder and filler — a true puro. Both vitolas had previously appeared as limited editions in round shapes, but the 2026 versions arrive with a soft box-press for the first time in this particular blend. The cigars began shipping to stores in early August 2026.

The Black Label Private Reserve line was born from the partnership between Tatuaje founder Pete Johnson and the Garcia family at My Father Cigars in Esteli, Nicaragua — a collaboration that has become one of the industry’s most celebrated stories over the past two decades.
