Montecristo Media Corona is a superb Half Corona-format cigar. It’s ideal for lovers of Cuban vitolas who want to enjoy a cigar but have very little time available. Montecristo Media Corona uses leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, known for producing the finest tobacco leaves in the world. As expected from the Montecristo brand, the Media Corona is excellently rolled, has a good draw and burns beautifully. The flavour profile is typical of Montecristo, with sweetness, creaminess, cedar, nuts, floral notes and coffee. First third: the cigar opens gently with a pleasant woody aroma, along with a certain sweetness. Notes of roasted nuts and bread aromas are felt. Second third: the dominant aromas are wood, toasted tobacco, bread and pepper. Final third: the flavour profile stays almost the same, but with more pronounced wood and toasted-bread aromas. Overall, Montecristo Media Corona is a short, good cigar with a pleasant taste of wood and nuts.
