Montecristo Open Regata is the perfect Forum cigar. The mild tobacco aroma, peppery and spicy cedar-wood notes make Open Regata special. The cigar has great ageing potential, with a recommended ageing period of 2 to 3 years, which will make it even richer, more complex and creamier. First third: the cigar opens with distinct woody aromas, very similar to oak, and chocolate notes. The dominant aromas of this third are cedar, tobacco and spice. Second third: a little smoother, the aromas develop and become more intense and somewhat heavier — these are bold leather aromas with still-clear woody notes. Final third: the nutty aromas fade and the tobacco, hay and cedar aromas remain. The spice builds, white pepper and cinnamon notes stand out, and a coffee aftertaste is felt.
