Montecristo Dantes is the third and final limited edition released by Habanos S.A. in 2016. From the very first puffs, the cigar gently fills the palate with aromas of cedar, earth and spice. The strength is high, but the taste is very rounded. From the middle of the first third, you gradually begin to feel the beloved Montecristo palette. A light sweetness and creamy texture appear, with barely perceptible notes of nuts and coffee aromas playing in the background. In the second third, the cigar’s aromas become more pronounced, especially its sweetness. On the palate, you clearly feel a cocktail of nutty and spicy aromas, as well as notes of coffee with cream. Nearly to the middle of the final third, the cigar’s profile stays unchanged, letting you fully enjoy the authentic Montecristo character. The nutty aftertaste, with a light hint of white pepper spice, lingers on the palate for at least 2 hours. Montecristo Dantes Limited Edition is fairly complex, strong, and yet has a distinctive palette.
