The Good Food Awards, one of the best-known US competitions for craft and responsible food producers, has opened entries for its 2027 edition. Producers can enter until 31 October in 18 categories, including coffee.
Tasting and judging are blind and take place in January, alongside the Specialty Food Association’s Winter FancyFaire. The entry fee is $125 per product for members and $150 for non-members, while qualifying members get one complimentary entry.
In the 2026 edition, awards went to 13 coffee roasters. For small specialty roasters, a Good Food Award is both a confirmation of quality and a sales argument, as the competition emphasises taste as well as responsible production and sourcing practices.
