Boutique brand Curivari, founded in 2003 by Andreas Throuvala, is expanding its presence in Europe: German distributor GRE Trade GmbH has taken over exclusive distribution of the Buenaventura line in Germany from October 2026. Deliveries to specialist tobacconists began immediately.
Buenaventura was launched in 2012 and has become one of the core lines of the brand, which entered the US market back in 2010. Eight selected vitolas are available at the German launch, in limited quantities and with different flavour profiles.
Suggested prices are accessible for a premium cigar: €4.50 to €6.90 per cigar, while boxes of 10 and 20 cost between €59 and €118. GRE Trade managing director Olaf Ruf described the line as authentic and well crafted, priced to appeal to both experienced aficionados and newcomers.
