StoneX Acquires Integra, a Green Coffee Processor and Exporter in Colombia

StoneX Group, a US financial services and commodities trading company, announced on 12 October an agreement to acquire Integra, a Colombian green coffee processor and exporter. Financial terms were not disclosed, and Integra will join the group’s physical commodities division through its Switzerland-based trading business.

Integra was founded in 2015 by coffee trader Manuel Rueda and operates the La Bonita mill in Amagá, in the Antioquia department, about 40 kilometres from Medellín. The company buys coffee from several regions, including Cauca, Huila and Tolima, and grew from about 100,000 60-kg bags exported in 2020 to more than 200,000 in 2022. The mill holds certifications such as Organic, Rainforest Alliance and Fairtrade.

For StoneX, the acquisition means a direct presence at origin in Colombia, one of the most important arabica-producing countries. Rueda said Integra’s team and sourcing model will remain unchanged.
