Description

Western Cellars is a semi-sweet white wine made from Colombard and Chardonnay grapes, grown in California’s Central Valley, which stretches along the Pacific coast south of San Francisco. The vineyard soils range from sandy to clay-limestone to stony. Part of the wine is aged in oak casks. Winemaking takes place in California cellars, but bottling takes place in France. Although production locations differ, the wine meets the highest quality standards. This wine is produced by the American winery Western, part of the well-known French giant Les Grands Chais de France. The wine’s rounded taste is characterized by its smooth texture, a good balance between acidity and tannins, notes of white pear and vanilla, and a pleasant sweet finish.
