“Línea de Oro” is Habanos S.A.’s name for the new super-premium line from Romeo y Julieta, a brand founded in 1875. As “Oro” means “gold” in Spanish, this new series promises a lot. It includes three new modern formats, made exclusively for this line. All three follow the trend of larger-ring-gauge, medium-length cigars. Their tobacco blend is described as medium to full, a first for the Romeo y Julieta brand. The cigars, 20 per box, come in fine wooden boxes finished in the brand’s signature red. Externally, these premium cigars are flawless. Fittingly for a new line at this level, they are hand-made — “totalmente a mano” — from the finest Vuelta Abajo tobacco leaves.
