Hoyo de Monterrey Coronations Tubos is a mild vitola whose aroma covers notes of wood, earth, leather, coffee, nuts, fruit and flowers. Burning time runs from 40 to 60 minutes. The first third begins with a fairly strong earthy note; after the opening puffs the strength eases and lets other aromas come through. In the second third the aromas grow a little fuller, with dominant notes similar to the first third — cedar rounding out floral, leather and fruit tones, plus a hint of sweet coffee. The final third brings rich cedar and leather. Overall, an easy, pleasant smoke.
