By category, Altieri Specialty Coffee won the Varietals section, Lamastus Family Estates topped the Washed category, and Lérida Estate took first place in Natural. Best of Panama remains one of the most sought-after competitions in the specialty coffee world, with winning lots typically going on to international auctions where they fetch prices several times above market average. The results reaffirm Panama’s status as one of the most respected origins for Geisha varietals and high-altitude coffees.
