Great Taste Awards 2026: This Year’s Winning Coffees

The 2026 edition of the Great Taste awards, run by the Guild of Fine Food, handed out honors to a record number of products — over 15,000 entries from 3,919 companies across 116 countries, nine of them entering for the first time. In total, judges gave out 192 one-star, 70 two-star and 17 three-star awards, the competition’s highest distinction.

Among the coffees recognized was Candover, from Moon Roast Coffee, which was elevated to three stars after the company refined its recipe while keeping its character intact; founder Francis Bradshaw says the brand has been winning Great Taste awards “for over a decade.” Panama Jazz, from Cafe de Panama, and the 09 single origin, from All Things Bloom, also picked up honors.

More than 800 industry experts judged the entries blind over 105 days, assessing taste first, then appearance, aroma and texture. The results reflect the growing diversity of the international specialty coffee scene. Anyone looking to explore quality coffee can check out Mister Tabaco’s coffee category.
