The Glen Scotia distillery from Campbeltown had a standout showing at the 2026 edition of the Scotch Whisky Masters, run by The Spirits Business. The Campbeltown Malts Festival Edition 2026 was named Taste Master, the competition’s top honor, while Glen Scotia Harbour picked up a Master award for a profile judges described as “rich and complex, oily texture with well-integrated smoke and sweetness.”
The results point to a strong moment for Campbeltown whiskies, one of Scotland’s smallest whisky regions, which is increasingly holding its own against established names like Speyside or Islay.
