Angel’s Envy Cellar Collection Vol. 6: a rye finished in peach brandy and toasted oak barrels

Louisville’s Angel’s Envy distillery, owned by Bacardi, has announced Cellar Collection Vol. 6, a straight rye whiskey limited to roughly 36,000 bottles of 750 ml. A nationwide US launch is planned for October 9, 2026, at a suggested price of $199.99.

What sets this edition apart is a double finish – a first for the series. The whiskey, aged 8 to 11 years in total, spent 15-23 months in peach brandy barrels, while another portion rested 6-12 months in toasted oak barrels. Master Distiller Owen Martin then blended the two components. It is bottled at 53.2% ABV.

Official tasting notes mention ripe stone fruit, vanilla and spice, followed by peach, caramel and cinnamon. Martin says his aim was to build “layers of flavor.”

Angel’s Envy is not currently in our catalog, but you can explore the spirits selection at Mister Tabaco.
