Norway’s Wilfa enters the US market directly with drip brewers and the Uniform EVO grinder

Wilfa, the Norwegian appliance maker well known in specialty coffee, has set up its own operations in the United States. Until 2025, its machines reached the US through an exclusive distributor, a partnership the company has since ended.

The range shown at a New York event in late October includes three drip brewers: the Performance Thermo ($399), the Zense Alux ($299) and the Zense Alux Thermo ($349), all with a removable reservoir of about 1.2 litres. The headline product is the Uniform EVO grinder ($399), with flat steel burrs enlarged from 58 to 64 mm, 41 grind settings and a lid that doubles as a scale accurate to 0.1 g.

Wilfa’s drip brewers descend from the Svart Presisjon, developed in 2013 with World Barista Champion Tim Wendelboe. The products are sold online through Williams Sonoma and independent retailers, with Crate & Barrel to follow in the coming months.
