Description
“Pata Negra” Toro Roble wine is made from the Tempranillo variety, the king of the Iberian Peninsula. The harvested grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature of about 25-30°C, with skin maceration of about 20 days to achieve a beautiful color and a well-defined flavor structure. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in American and French oak casks for 12 months. The wine’s rich, yet not heavy, taste reveals hints of fig, raisin, sherbet, caramel and Irish toffee. In the finish, chocolate aromas dominate over the fruity notes.
