Hennessy V.S.O.P. Gift Box 1l cognac is the house’s emblematic drink, having become the worldwide benchmark for the VSOP category. Its history is closely tied to royal orders and the centuries-old traditions of French winemaking. Every bottle is the result of the meticulous work of the tasting committee, led by 8th-generation master blender René Fillioux de Gironde. The blend includes over 60 cognac spirits (eaux-de-vie) made from Ugni Blanc grapes, grown in the four finest regions of the Cognac province. The spirits are aged in French Limousin oak casks: the youngest for at least 4 years, and the oldest up to 15 years. The drink stands out for its perfect balance between strength and finesse. Its color is a brilliant amber, with golden and ruby highlights, and the aroma initially reveals delicate notes of spice — vanilla, clove and cinnamon — followed by subtle accents of toasted bread and ripe apricot. The taste is full and velvety, with a harmonious balance of honey, licorice, candied fruit and toasted almonds.
