Scottish distillery The Dalmore has unveiled the 2026 edition of its Distillery Select series, a 14-year-old Highland single malt. The whisky was first matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then finished for one year and nine months in semisecco Marsala wine casks, which the distillery says bring a “golden, honeyed warmth”.
The flavour profile includes candied citrus, honeyed fruit, roasted nuts and a gently spiced finish. It is bottled at 53.7% alcohol, at natural colour and without chill filtration. Only 1,110 bottles are available, on sale from August 31, 2026, at around 350 pounds sterling.
At Mister Tabaco you can already find The Dalmore range, including Dalmore Quintet.
