Stetson, the American company known for 161 years for its Western hats, has entered the spirits industry for the first time with the launch of Stetson Bourbon. It’s a 100-proof (50% ABV) Kentucky straight bourbon with a high-rye mash bill, blended by Kentucky Master Blender Dan Callaway after a three-year sourcing and tasting process. The whiskey marks the first-ever collaboration between two Kentucky distilleries, Green River Distilling Co. and Bardstown Bourbon Company, combining barrels aged an average of seven years. Distilled and bottled in Bardstown, Stetson Bourbon is priced at $70 and launched on August 4, 2026, initially direct-to-consumer and through select retailers.
