SCHUSTER XO: Limited-Edition Cigarillos with a Cameroon Wrapper Harvested in 2004

Cigarrenfabrik August Schuster, a long-established German manufacturer, has introduced SCHUSTER XO, a limited edition that extends the SCHUSTER cigarillo line launched in Germany last year. The centrepiece of the series is a Cameroon wrapper from a 2004 harvest, which was kept and aged for more than two decades.

The run is limited for a very concrete reason: only two bales of tobacco from that lot were preserved. Managing director Martin Schuster says his father was already convinced in 2004 that these bales “were something special”. The filler combines tobacco from Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Cuba.

The series comes in cedarwood boxes in two formats: Purito (11 x 115 mm, 10 pieces, €35 per box) and Club (9 x 92 mm, 12 pieces, €33.60 per box). The maker has not disclosed the exact number of boxes or the markets where the edition will be distributed.
