Perdomo 30th Anniversary moves to 20-count boxes and wider availability

Perdomo Cigars has announced a change that concerns availability more than the blend itself: the Perdomo 30th Anniversary line is moving to 20-count boxes and becoming available through a wider retail network.

The change applies to all three versions of the series — Connecticut, Sun Grown and Maduro — which cover the classic spread of preferences: from a mild, creamy profile to a sweeter and fuller one, through to the darkest and most intense of the three.

Moving to 20-count boxes is an increasingly common industry practice: the format lowers the shelf price of a full box and lets shops stock several blends at once instead of tying up their budget in large boxes of a single version. For the consumer, the direct effect is a better chance of finding the line locally.

Perdomo is not currently listed in our catalogue, but you can explore the cigars available at Mister Tabaco.

Perdomo Launches Legacy Father & Son: Three Blends, Two Generations

Perdomo has released the Legacy Father & Son trio, a project that brings together, for the first time, the separate blends of Nick Perdomo Jr. and his son, Nicholas Perdomo III, alongside a third cigar the two blended together. All three versions start from a hybrid tobacco created by crossing habano-seed with Cameroon-seed varieties.

The Shade Grown release, blended by Perdomo Jr., also uses that same hybrid for its wrapper; the Maduro, blended by Nicholas III, wears a Nicaraguan wrapper; and the Connecticut version, worked on by both, is dressed in a Connecticut-seed leaf grown in Ecuador. The tobaccos used across the blends were aged between ten and fifteen years, giving the cigars a refined, harmonious flavor profile.

The cigars come in a 6 x 48/60/52 Gran Figurado format, packed in 50-count boxes handcrafted at the Perdomo factory. The launch reflects a trend gaining ground across the industry: family projects that pair one generation’s experience with another’s perspective.
