Espinosa Launches Knuckle Sandwich Avant-Garde, a Milder Blend for Guy Fieri’s Brand

Four years after the debut of the Knuckle Sandwich line — the collaboration between master blender Erik Espinosa and celebrity chef Guy Fieri, produced at the San Lotano factory in Nicaragua — the brand is expanding its range with Avant-Garde, a vitola designed specifically for smokers looking for a milder experience that’s far from boring.

The original Knuckle Sandwich line already covered a wide range of intensities: the Natural, with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over all-Nicaraguan filler, has a medium body; the Maduro relies on an oily, dark Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper; and the Connecticut, with a golden Ecuadorian wrapper, delivers a smooth, creamy, medium-bodied smoke.

Avant-Garde rounds out this portfolio with lower intensity but a complex flavor profile, designed to appeal to both occasional smokers and aficionados looking for a break from bolder blends.
