Cuvée Coffee, a fixture of the specialty coffee scene in Austin, Texas, has opened its most ambitious location yet — a nearly 2,000-square-foot cafe and bar on the ground floor of The Code, a hotel and residential building in the city’s south side.
The space blends a classic cafe area with a lounge-style bar built to operate all day long: specialty coffee in the morning, coffee-based cocktails at night. The location overlooks the property’s pool and is open to the general public, not just building residents.
The “coffee-to-cocktail” concept is gaining traction across the industry, as cafes increasingly aim to become all-day destinations rather than just morning stops.
