Producer Selected Tobacco has announced the second edition of the Atabey Ritos gift set, one of the most exclusive presentations of the Atabey brand. The brand’s creator is designer and blender Nelson Alfonso, who also designed the porcelain ashtray included in the set, decorated with Atabey branding.
The set contains five Ritos cigars in a 6 1/8 x 55 format, each packed in its own tube. After rolling, the cigars were aged for five years. The blend combines an Ecuadorian wrapper with Peruvian and Dominican filler. The brand’s name refers to Atabey, the mother goddess of the Taíno people of the Caribbean.
The edition is limited, with a suggested retail price of $270, and shipments began in the first week of October.
