Arbikie The Signature: the Scottish distillery’s first 10-year-old single malt

Scottish Highlands distillery Arbikie released the first single malt in a long-term programme on 7 September: The Signature, a 10-year-old expression.

The whisky was distilled from barley grown on the Arbikie estate itself and matured in ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a run limited to 1,000 units, priced at around GBP 250 for a 70 cl bottle. Distribution runs online worldwide and through the distillery’s trade partners.

The release marks ten years since production began at Arbikie, a distillery built on a “field to bottle” principle — it grows its own raw material and controls the whole chain, from seed to bottle. That model is increasingly valued by drinkers who care about the traceability of what is in their glass.
