Alec Bradley Chunk Sumatra: the third short, fat cigar in the Chunk series

Alec Bradley, a brand in the Scandinavian Tobacco Group portfolio, is adding a third regular-production line to its Chunk series of short, very thick cigars. Following Chunk Maduro (2024) and Chunk Shade (2025), Chunk Sumatra is scheduled to ship to retailers on October 1, 2026.

The cigar uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, a Connecticut broadleaf binder and a filler of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. It is rolled at the HATSA factory in Honduras and is described as medium-bodied.

All three sizes measure 4 inches: XL (60 ring, $6.49), 3XL (66 ring, $8.49) and 4XL (80 ring, $9.49). The first two come in 20-count boxes, the 4XL in boxes of 18.

Short, fat formats deliver a fairly compact smoke with plenty of volume – an increasingly popular choice among enthusiasts. Explore the cigar selection available at Mister Tabaco.

Alec Bradley Filthy Ghooligan returns for Halloween in 1,950 boxes

Forged Cigar Company has confirmed the return of its seasonal Alec Bradley Black Market Filthy Ghooligan, now in its third consecutive year. Shipments to retailers begin in September, comfortably ahead of Halloween, the occasion the cigar was built around.

The visual signature remains the barber-pole wrapper, made from alternating strips of leaf. Unlike the classic Filthy Hooligan, which leans on candela, this blend pairs Ecuadorian Habano with US Broadleaf. Underneath sits an Indonesian Besuki binder, while the filler brings together Dominican Piloto and Nicaraguan tobaccos from Jalapa, Estelí and Condega. The company says only that the cigar is made in Honduras, without naming the factory.

The 2026 edition comes in a single size, a 6 x 50 Toro, at a suggested retail price of $14.49 per cigar — unchanged from last year. The run totals 1,950 boxes of 24.
