Description
In H. Upmann cigars, the finest raw material is used – tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region (Pinar del Rio). The manufacturer uses a mature, single-piece leaf as the wrapper, while the binder is a strong, resilient leaf, and the filler is likewise made from whole leaves. The quality of the raw materials invariably sets the brand apart from its competitors and justifies the high cost of the vitola. The blend includes aromatic essential oils and tannins, which form a certain viscosity. When savouring the smoke, ammonia comes into play, lightly tingling the tongue.
This cigar is the fifth special Habanos edition called Añejados. All the cigars in this line have been aged for 5 to 8 years in finished form. At the bottom of each individual box, you can see a stamp with the word “Revisado.” This means that each pack was opened after ageing and individually inspected.
