Habanos S.A. is preparing a collector’s edition dedicated to the La Casa del Habano retail network, which has passed the 35-year mark. The centrepiece is a La Gloria Cubana 35 Aniversario humidor that will reach Swiss retailers on 6 October 2026, before rolling out to other markets later on.
Each humidor holds 35 cigars in a generously sized torpedo format: 7 1/8 inches long with a 54 ring gauge, a shape known in Cuban factories as Rodolfos. The global run is limited to 750 humidors, and the announced Swiss price is 3,850 Swiss francs, roughly $4,690. Details of the tobacco blend have not been disclosed.
The La Casa del Habano franchise started in 1990 with a first shop in Mexico and today counts more than 155 locations in over 60 countries, 10 of them in Switzerland. The actual anniversary fell in 2025, but the commemorative release was scheduled only for this autumn.
