Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) has named Russ Torres chief executive of Global Coffee Co., the coffee business that is set to be separated from the group and listed independently by early 2027. Torres takes up the role on 3 November 2026.
The new CEO comes from Kimberly-Clark, where he was president and chief operating officer, overseeing operations in more than 30 countries after previously leading its $11 billion North American business. Over a career of roughly 30 years he has also held senior roles at Newell Brands, Bain & Company and Mondelēz.
Global Coffee Co. stems from KDP’s acquisition of JDE Peet’s, a deal of around $18 billion announced in 2025 and completed in April 2026. The future company is expected to generate about $16 billion in annual revenue, employ more than 25,000 people and operate in over 100 markets, with brands such as Keurig, Jacobs, L’OR, Peet’s and Green Mountain. Torres is the third pick for the post since the deal was announced.
