The win secures Saglio a spot representing Panama at the 2027 World Brewers Cup, set for October in Bogotá, Colombia, where national champions from around the globe will compete for the filter-brewing world title. The result reaffirms Panama’s standing as one of the most influential origins for top-tier specialty coffee, thanks to the unique microclimates of the Boquete region, where Hacienda La Esmeralda is grown.
