Carlos Fuente Jr., head of the Arturo Fuente house, has teamed up with Romeo Santos, known as the “King of Bachata”, on a special cigar: Fuente Fuente OpusX Por Amor al Tío. The name means “for the love of my uncle” and honours the artist’s late uncle, who was a father figure to him and a devoted fan of the OpusX line.
The cigar comes in a single box-pressed 6¾ x 50 format and will be made in just 500 boxes of 20, presented in decorative chests. It will not reach regular retail: it will only be available at fundraising events of the Los Santos Foundation, which supports families affected by autism — a cause that became personal for Santos after his son’s diagnosis. Part of the proceeds also goes to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which works with communities in Bonao, Dominican Republic.
The official unveiling is scheduled for 3 December 2026, at a gala at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
