Blue Bottle Coffee Opens Its First Cafés in Thailand

American specialty coffee chain Blue Bottle Coffee, known for its artisanal approach and rigorous brewing standards, has debuted in Thailand with two Bangkok cafés opened just three days apart — the first at Central Park on August 21, followed by a full-experience flagship at EmQuartier on August 24, 2026. Thailand becomes the brand’s seventh market, after the United States, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

The expansion comes a few months after Blue Bottle was sold by Nestlé to Chinese private equity firm Centurium Capital, the key investor behind Luckin Coffee, for under $400 million. The brand enters a Thai specialty coffee market estimated at roughly 30 billion baht, pairing its global craft-focused format with products developed for local consumers.
