Partagas Lusitanias is a true gem and one of the most highly regarded Double Corona cigars. First third: the aromas that stand out include spice and leather notes. After the first few draws, notes of cinnamon and ginger join in, blending with coffee and cocoa notes. Second third: the second third continues with the same flavour profile, with the addition of damp earthy aromas that reveal the cigar’s richness. Many other aromas also appear: bitterness from the coffee notes, spice from the cinnamon, sweetness from the caramel. Final third: the final third is incredibly rich. The blend of spice and coffee bitterness is still present, with notes of Asian spice and bitter chocolate. Herbal hints also start to show closer to the end of the third, making this Cuban cigar remarkable and hard to put down.
