Description
Punch 48 is a recently launched product range, available exclusively at La Casa Del Habanos stores and specialised Habanos shops. The wrapper has a pleasant reddish-brown shade, is smooth and moderately oily. Before lighting, you’ll notice woody cedar aromas and will appreciate the cigar’s pleasant salty aftertaste.
The first third of the cigar starts slowly, with light general aromas, mainly wood, cinnamon and grassy notes.
In the second third, the cigar gives off more aromas and starts to show its character. The woody notes become more prominent and blend with fresh mint and other herbal notes. Spice notes are also distinguishable in the background. The aromas overall are very well balanced, making the second third very pleasant. The cigar’s strength stays at medium.
The final third is where the cigar’s aromas gain strength. The vitola shows its youth, with some bitter notes (strong black coffee, dark chocolate). In the end, the aroma profile remains well balanced, with an intense blend of wood and fresh herbs.
