Partagas Shorts brings together all the typical Partagas aromas, with a flavour profile fairly similar to Partagas Serie D No. 4, but with more pepper, cedar and earthy tones. Partagas Shorts is a well-rolled cigar, with a sturdy reddish-brown wrapper leaf, lightly oily, with minimal veins. First third: as mentioned, Partagas Shorts tastes very similar to its bigger sibling, Partagas Serie D No. 4. In the first third, the cigar gives off a dense, rich, aromatic smoke, with notes of cedar, nutmeg, coffee and earth. Second third: the aromas balance out, and the cigar reveals its strength. The woody and spicy aromas become more evident, joined by earthy and musky-vanilla tones. Final third: in the final third, the cigar becomes simple and pleasant. Towards the end, the strength intensifies, with rich aromas of sweetness, leather, wood and nuts. Partagas Shorts is a fascinatingly full-bodied cigar in a smaller format.
