H. Upmann No. 2 Reserva Cosecha 2010 — a refined, aged cigar, delivered in a numbered black lacquered box. This is an exclusive cigar, with only 5,000 boxes released. This vitola has a medium strength and is hand-rolled solely from the finest tobacco leaves harvested in 2010 in the Vuelta Abajo region. It offers complex and unique yet well-balanced aromas, predominantly of nuts, leather and pepper. First third: the aromas of the first third are well balanced and complement each other nicely. The predominant aromas in the first third are nuts, almonds and peanuts, generally fairly sweet. Second third: the second third is truly where the H. Upmann Reserva Cosecha shows its true identity. Notes of leather and citrus remain dominant. Light spice aromas join in, mainly black pepper. The citrus notes shift from a lemon taste to an orange taste. Final third: shows another side of the Reserva Cosecha. The hay aroma fades, while the leather notes become more evident. The strength also increases in the final third. Notes of wood and citrus continue to be present, but floral hints are also added.
