Description
Mac Baren is a premium rolling-tobacco brand made by one of the most important privately held companies in Denmark. Its fame long ago spread beyond its home country’s borders, and today its products are in high demand in 70 countries. Mac Baren tobacco is made from high-quality raw materials, processed under the close supervision of the factory’s specialists. The raw material is selected and blended only by experienced craftsmen, capable of recognizing the subtle nuances of the tobacco leaves’ aromas. Each type of Mac Baren rolling tobacco is made according to a special recipe. The moisture content of the fresh raw material is no more than 7%, which creates certain difficulties — the leaves can crumble at the slightest touch, which is why they are steam-treated to make them more flexible and elastic. Then, the stems and veins are carefully removed from them by hand, avoiding the formation of dust. The leaves are kept in special containers and undergo fine cutting to make them more convenient for rolling.
