Rafael Gonzalez is a pre-revolutionary brand created in the’ 1930s. A notable detail of the Rafael Gonzalez brand is that every box of cigars carries an inscription in English: “These cigars should be smoked within one month of shipment from Havana, or should be aged for about a year.” Rafael Gonzalez cigars are made from Vuelta Abajo tobaccos. Despite its popularity, the Rafael Gonzalez range has been significantly reduced, and only the most sought-after vitolas remain on the market, characterised by their small size, rich aroma and good burn.
