Cohiba cigars are the most popular brand in the Cuban cigar product line. The brand’s official founding date is considered to be 1966, although Cohiba cigars didn’t appear on the open market until 16 years later. Initially, the Cohiba brand was intended only for the Castro brothers; later, the cigars became available to government officials and privileged guests visiting Cuba. This cigar was launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the house of Cohiba. The classic notes of coffee and herbs, present at the start, turn into leather and wood-cask aromas towards the end.
