Powstanie Cigars has begun shipping the SBC 26, the sixth release in the maker’s limited SBC series. The cigar has a barber-pole wrapper alternating two leaves: Ecuadorian Sumatra and Mexican San Andrés. Beneath it sits a Brazilian Mata Fina binder, while the filler combines Dominican Piloto Mejorado ligero with Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega, Estelí and Pueblo Nuevo.
The single format is a 5 1/2 x 46 Corona Gorda (about 140 mm). The price is $18 per cigar, or $360 for the 20-count box. Production is limited to 500 boxes, or 10,000 cigars in total. Powstanie cigars are made in Nicaragua.
