The Dalmore has released the newest edition in its Distillery Select series, a 14-year-old single malt Scotch bottled at natural cask strength of 53.7%. The whisky was first matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for one year and nine months in Semisecco Marsala casks — a medium-sweet Sicilian fortified wine. That finish brings notes of candied citrus, honeyed fruit, roasted nuts and gentle spice on top of the distillery’s classic toffee character. The Distillery Select series, launched in 2024, highlights “hidden gems” from The Dalmore’s dunnage warehouses. The 2026 edition is limited to just 1,110 bottles, available from August 31 at a suggested retail price of around £350.
