Description
One of the oldest brands in the country, still producing high-quality products today. Its vitolas stand out for a smooth, balanced bouquet that is not very typical of Cuban products. They can be recommended both to beginner smokers and to experienced ones. Cuban Hoyo de Monterrey cigars have won many gold medals, images of which adorn the emblem. The first award for a Hoyo de Monterrey vitola was won in 1867 at the Paris Exhibition. Over time, this cigar brand has constantly changed for the better, while only the packaging has remained traditional.
The Añejados range, third edition. If you see such a name on the box, you can be sure that these cigars were produced at least 7 years ago, but were kept at a special temperature in sealed boxes the whole time.
Hoyo de Monterrey Hermosos No.4 Añejados were released in 2015, but were produced and packaged no later than 2008! Thanks to the long ageing, they’ve taken on a velvety dark appearance. The taste of these cigars is softer, lacking the ammonia hint, and the vitola reveals its full range of aromas.
