A new vitola has expanded the portfolio of the Cuban brand Rafael González. The new cigar’s ring gauge shows that Habanos S.A. continues to support the cigar market trend of increasing vitola diameters. Perhaps this is a replacement for the Coronas Extra (143 mm × 46 RG), which was discontinued in 2010. After all, up to now, the next size in this brand’s current portfolio was the Mareva Petit Coronas (129 mm × 42 RG), as well as the even more modest Panetelas Extra and Perlas.

The cigar is hand-rolled from whole tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, which produces the best tobacco in the world. The Rafael González Coronas de Lonsdales was presented by EMPOR, Importação e Exportação SA, the exclusive distributor of Habanos S.A. in Portugal.
