H. Upmann Robustos Añejados cigars are a new model in the Añejados series. Robustos Añejados cigars have a medium strength, not very complex, but with an excellent creamy taste with wonderful notes of wood and sweetness. The cigar is well constructed and almost free of visible veins. Before lighting it, if you hold it in your hand, you’ll feel aromas of wood with some animal-like hints. First third: very creamy and smooth in the first part, the aromas are mainly woody, with a few mineral hints and plenty of sweetness, reminiscent of crème brûlée. As you move towards the middle, spice slowly comes to the surface, with chili pepper taste predominating, blending with chocolate sweetness. Second third: in the second third, the taste of Robustos Añejados becomes even rounder, smoother and now develops great complexity, with the addition of a slight smokiness and roasted nut aromas. Final third: the cigar’s strength increases, but you can still enjoy a certain creaminess.
