Description
The celebrated Cuban Trinidad brand appeared only three years after its illustrious sibling, Cohiba. For a long time neither brand was sold commercially — they were used only as prestigious gifts for foreign diplomats and Cuban officials. Trinidad cigars were first released for sale in 1998, and then only in limited quantities. The tobacco blend used by the rollers is wrapped in secrecy and legend. Trinidad cigars are known for a wonderful aroma and a refined taste, immaculate hand-rolling, and a smooth, slightly oily wrapper in a pleasant Colorado to chocolate shade, finished with the brand’s traditional pigtail cap.
Trinidad Reyes is a small, very well hand-rolled cigar with a pleasant chocolate-shade wrapper, slightly oily and smooth to the touch, finished with the brand’s traditional pigtail cap. Before lighting, notes of blackcurrant and tobacco come through. The cigar leaves a light salinity on the lips. The burn is smooth, and even a small puff releases a generous amount of smoke.
