That checks out — according to our tests, 22 Dark Side cubes last longer than 25 from other manufacturers. There’s also less ash, but there were a few downsides: first, Dark Side charcoal’s price is still higher than others’. Second, it’s fairly hard to break, so we don’t recommend dropping it too hard onto a tray or a censer. Overall, though — this charcoal is very good!
